Due to the fact that Tau Browser is built on our own cross-platform solution RhoMobile, the browser works on various operating systems, both mobile and desktop. Tau Browser is not tied to a vendor and works on any device.

Barcode / RFID
Web applications can use direct access to a barcode scanner or RFID scanner via Javascript API.
If the device does not have a hardware scanner, a software barcode scanner can be used via the same API.
